A true community of friends

At DHE we love creating and hosting events that bring our neighborhood closer together. Whether its a summer block party, fall chili cook off, or a Friday night food truck, your HOA wants to create a fun and friendly atmosphere where all residents can get to know each other. HOA Calendar 2024

(*all dates subject change)

01 January 2024: Annual HOA fee is due. Late fee applies after 31 January.

26 April 2024: Spring Clean Up (Meet at 1123 Blackthorn Rd at 5:00pm. We will walk the neighborhood and pick up trash in the common areas, streets, and creeks for one hour. Hotdogs and chips will be provided after.)

12 May 2024: Neighborhood Yard Sale

29 July 2024: Annual HOA Meeting (at Douglass Hills City Hall, 219 Moser Road, Louisville, KY)

25 August 2024: Summer Block Party (Starts at 4:00pm at the cul-de-sac at 1123 Blackthorn Rd)

13 October 2024: Fall Festival (Chili cookoff competition)

31 October 2024: Neighborhood Trick or Treat (if bad weather, look for an alternate date to be published on the DHE Facebook page).

22 December 2024: Christmas Caroling

Starting at 3:30pm (If you would like the Carolers to come to your house, please leave us a message on Facebook no later than 14 December 2024.)
